URBAN PARKS – Urban Parks and Benefits in Kajaani and Kostamus (KA5000)

Objective of the project
The Urban Parks brands of Kajaani and Kostamus are well-known and recognized sources of personal health, community well-being and social economic growth for the local residents and tourists.
Main activities
• Establishing site manager network in Kajaani region. • Creation of the Urban Parks concept with the necessary brand strategies etc. for Urban parks' communication & marketing and implement them in selected communication and marketing channels. • Utilizing service design approach on pilot sites and involve locals and NGO's in planning. • Improving selected pilot sites in Urban Parks to ensure a well-functioning customer path and enhanced visitor experience • Integrate health benefits and connect business products in communications of Urban parks concept • activation of the use of the Kajaani and Kostamus Parks as attractive and safe destinations for daily recreational visits and developing visibility of the urban parks. • improving the capacity of the event production of the parks and arranging common events and social media campaign against vandalism in urban parks in Kajaani and Kostamus. • Activating locals to actively use Urban Parks sites for recreation and events.
