Russian-Swedish Council for SME (KO447)

Objective of the project

The project’s objective is to develop and increase the business activities between Sweden and Russia in Barents region. Specific objective is to create optimal conditions for long-term business relations for Russian and Swedish SME, through the “Rus-Swe Council”, its supporting network, and the mutual office in Murmansk. The projects wants to establish and support cross-border business relations for at least 10 two-part operations and 2 groups of entrepreneurs from both countries taking part in some large investment project.

Achievements

The project actors and participants have learned a lot about business cooperation between Sweden and Russia: about the importance of getting to know each other and the business culture in the other country. Some numbers: the project has arranged 16 educational activites, where totally 230 persons have participated. In activities like b-to-b events, more than a thousand people have participated.
