Objective of the project
The project was going to purchase the necessary machinery and equipment for the Outokumpu “Rock Clinic”. As a result of the project, the Rock Clinic was planned to have the necessary machinery and equipment, as well as qualified personnel for the implementation of development projects of the stone industry. Eastern exports required the production of building stone products to meet the needs of the Eastern market. Not far from St. Petersburg, there were many restoration projects that also include production and training projects. Through its development activities, the Rock Clinic created and improved conditions for cross-border cooperation, promoted the use of natural resources of Karelia and the establishment of commercial cooperation, increased the awareness of companies about neighboring regions and developed the activities of SMEs in the stone industry.
