Objective of the project

The objective of the project was to support the restructuring and development of rural areas in border regions and expand the economic base of rural areas by supporting and developing international trade in natural resource products produced in rural areas. The project will expand trade in domestically produced raw materials and refined products to Russia, expand the experience of local mining companies in eastern trade, and expand opportunities for working in Russia and participating in lucrative Russian trade. The project aims to promote new agricultural products and recruits people with a polytechnic education in Russian trading companies to carry out trading tasks. The project will also improve the University of Applied Sciences' knowledge of international trade and support the creation of company networks.
