Moving Towards Wellbeing (SE490)

Objective of the project
The overall objective of the project was to develop business in the welfare and social and health care sectors as well as business-related collaboration within the framework of cross-border cooperation. All the activities were originally planned and developed on the grounds of mutual visions of quite similar challenges in the social and health care sectors in both countries. In practical terms, the objectives were targeted by focusing on entrepreneurs, university teachers and students of the respective sectors as well as by providing authorities with additional information on the challenges to organize partnership between actors in the public and private sectors.
Main activities
- Promotion of entrepreneurship. - Promotion of expertise in business education and Finnish-Russian cooperation. - Promotion of networking and cooperation.
Achievements
Due to well functional and continuing cooperation with the project partners, the project resulted in, for example, the following figures: 203 participants in working groups organised within the project, 187 participants in the subject-specific seminars, 35 students passed the virtual learning course “Active competence in entrepreneurship” and one internet-based common network portal for providing information.
