Objective of the project

The project was intended to contribute to the equipping of the Kuusamo border guard station, which was becoming international.

Main activities

• to renovate and improve the heating efficiency of Kortesalmi's building number 6 or to convert the family residences to joint accommodation and social facilities.

Achievements

The building's floor plan changes were completed as planned, the heating insulation of the building was improved, and the ventilation system was replaced with an energy-efficient one. The surface structures were also renewed. The useful life and value of the building has increased with the renovation.
