Objective of the project
A new kind of innovative eco technology has been developed during serious fundamental research by the St. Petersburg State Institute of Technology and Scientific Research Institute of Synthetic Rubber named after Lebedev S.V. The project is exploring the possibility of using this technology to develop existing businesses and / or new businesses in seven companies participating in the project in North Ostrobothnia and North Karelia. The project creates opportunities for Finnish companies to continue close cooperation with the Institutes and Russian scientists involved in the project. The Oulu University of Applied Sciences will gain important industrial ties with companies on the Russian side. The objective of the project is to build capacity for the use of eco-technology innovations in the industries participating in the project. Another objective is to establish close cooperation with scientists from St. Petersburg and their institutes.
