Objective of the project

The objective of the project was to build more accommodation room on top of the two already existing holiday apartments the company of Sampo Pitkänen, as well as to improve the company's sales and marketing efficiency to attract Russian business travellers and tourists as regular customers. The Sampo Pitkänen company is located 8 km from Joensuu, therefore, it offers Russian shopping tourists the opportunity to use the services of the accommodation company and various programmes all year round. The Pitkänen family speaks Russian very well, so there is no problem understanding Russian tourists. The company is included in the North Karelia Tourism Marketing brochure and will issue its own presentation brochures in Finnish, German, English and Russian.
