Objective of the project

Enhancing environmental effectiveness of tourist enterprises in the cross-border region through ecological and economically sound solutions.

Main activities

• Analyzing current situation and systematizing existing problems and barriers in the tourism sector within the project area in the context of negative impact on the environment. • Developing ecologically and economically sound solutions for tourism sector aimed to reduce negative impact on the environment. • Implementing economical and ecological solutions at pilot tourist objects for continious demonstration and capacity building purposes and project results dissemination. • Enhancing awareness and build capacity of target groups on green solutions and environmental issues. - Educational seminars for target groups, cross border study tours at the enterprises of the tourism sector (in small groups) for the owners and staff of tourist camps / centers and guest houses from Finland in Russia, - Implementing of open cross-border events for relevant actors and interested specialist on the green solutions and environmental issues
