Funded by Interreg II Karelia 1996-1999
Objective of the project

In addition, the internal connections of the border guard were going to rely on the FastNet-connections of the Telecom Finland Ltd. and the connections to external service providers were going to rely on the DataNet-network of the Telecom Finland. The internal connections of the buildings were going to be transformed into a twin cable system and the former ADP-network was going to be adapted functionally to the new telecommunication network.
