Objective of the project
The objective of the project was to promote and diversify the export of North Karelia's tourism services to Russia, as well as to create good working conditions for the tourism business. Thanks to the project, the international knowledge of tourism in the region will become better, as will the cooperation between companies in various fields. This marketing-export-project of several companies involved the continuous development of products and working methods, for example, the expansion of travel product packages. The group's products included seasonal themed trips, incentive products, nature tours and organized shopping trips. Tourism marketing in Russia was an activity that took place in different regions, and a group of applicant companies was developing cooperation with tourism companies in Kainuu. The project was implemented and completed in 1998. (EAKR)
