Objective of the project
The main goal of this project was to improve energy efficiency in the areas of cross-border cooperation (the South-East Finland and North-West of Russia). For the development of construction in Kouvola, Helsinki, Lappeenranta, St. Petersburg and Leningrad region was supposed to create an information platform on energy efficiency, construction and professional education, to consolidate educational institutions that operate in the construction industry in border areas, and to establish the research center in the construction and real estate.
Main activities
- Creation of the Unified Information Platform - Creation of the algorithm of interaction between participants of IIP (partnership) - Creation of the algorithm of interaction between participants of IIP (renovation the areas) - Placement offices of companies (Information event) - Developing a model of interaction of educational institutions - Publication of information on the created model of interaction schools (Information event) - The conference on problems of education (Information event) - Establishment of the Expert Committee on Research Quality - Development of the criteria for selecting new materials, technologies, equipment and educational services - Development of the project on the harmonization of European standards and Russian norms of urban development - Publication of information on energy-efficient innovations (Information event)
Achievements
During the project period, the objective was addressed by amassing networks of professionals and experts from the relevant fields and by contacting companies operating in the construction and energy sectors. An information platform (Unified Information Platform, UIP) was set up by launching the website http://technopark-spb.com for providing and updating publications related to the construction and energy sector, additional information for target groups and the database of pilot projects. The project partners also addressed the educational field by offering cooperation with the State, industrial and private educational facilities, initiative groups and companies.
