Development of information system for Russian and Finnish tourism marketing

Objective of the project
The objective of the project was to develop, test and implement an operating model that would have made it possible to book trips from Russia to Finland and from Finland to Russia, as well as securely transfer money using the new information system. In the first part of the project, the system should be tested together with selected partners from Vyborg and St. Petersburg, and later extended to the Republic of Karelia. Further, the system adds destinations available for booking from Finland and Russia to turn the Russian-language information system into a sellable product.
Main activities
- examining the legislation on cash flow in Russia; - increasing of pricing parameters; - installation of the reserve service systems and training of the Russian partners; - monitoring, supporting and reporting of the pilot phase.
