Development of export of medical supplies to the Republic of Karelia

Objective of the project

The objective of the project was to expand the export of medical supplies to the Republic of Karelia, such as various types of prostheses. Within the project, the possibilities of creating a prosthesis production in the Republic of Karelia are being explored, either in cooperation with a local company, or creating a commercially viable business unit of its own. Local legislation, nursing practice and culture were taken into account when developing the project. During the project, a Russian-language dictionary was developed in accordance with international standards, and local specialists were introduced to modern technical services. This toolkit creates conditions for local experts to learn more about the international supply of tools. The objective is to offer technical services throughout the Republic of Karelia.
