Objective of the project

Competitiveness of cultural services and products has been increased by upgrading service design practices.

Main activities

Work package 1. Identification of growth areas: - to study the current state in servicing and marketing and potential customers and service design demands and new approaches - to compile Data base of International cultural operators to be engaged in activities and cross-sectorial partnerships - to develop the manual "how to improve cultural services and market them"; Work package 2. Training and mentoring instruments: - to create an ethno sound/dance and design center on the basis of existing institutions - to develop a training package for service providers (cultural operators) based on service design study and cross-sectoral approach - to work out training and networking course for mentors working for the ethno sound/dance and design center Work package 3. Service development and promotion: - to develop service/product design for service providers - to introduce services under supervision of mentors, including establishment of networks with partners and distributers - to present pilot services/products in cultural/tourism or project events and. to disseminate best developed project practices and approaches in North-west Russia and Finland
