Objective of the project
Reinforcing cross border investment opportunities resulting from the diversification of monocities and global industrial modernisation trends.
Main activities
• Designing and tuning policy and delivery methods supporting FDI in the border areas: - Identify and analyse the challenges and problems hampering the investments in the border areas; - Running comparative analysis of the barriers faced by the investors on the Fin / Rus side - Producing the road map with the policy recommendations and best practices for regional / local decision-makers - Developing and testing practical methods for policy design and delivery supporting FDI - Training of the relevant authorities and stakeholders on investment services / investor relations • Set up a cross border single entry online service effectively facilitating investment decisions: - Developing content and set up the operations - Identification of cross-border investment potential in order to target FDI offers to the pilot monocities - Developing and testing e-tools for investors - Well-functioning associated FDI service - Cross border investment schemes / inventory of investment projects • Selection and implementation of industrial diversification projects - Collecting the best practices and state-of the-art approaches in industrial diversification - Four prioritised industries have strategic resinsnace in the SEP business plan - Development of industry-related FDI packages for pilot monocities • Promoting regional investment attractiveness
