Objective of the project

With the help of the project, two holiday cabins were going to be built to Sotkamo in order to increase the accommodation services of the area after the number of Russian tourists in the area had been increasing. The project was going to enhance the development of rural tourism in Sotkamo and the establishing of new business opportunities to the countryside. The cabins were going to be built in luxury style. The objective of the project was to satisfy the rural tourism needs of the Russian tourists. The holiday cabins were going to be under the transmission of the Vuokatti Tourist Centre Ltd. and part of the joint marketing project towards Russia of the area.
